Accordionist Petar Ralchev has created a personal style characterized by virtuosity, melodiousness, rich harmony and improvisation practices. He is a genuine bearer of the Bulgarian musical tradition, who nevertheless incorporates in his music the developments in the field of modern popular music. During the workshop, reference will be made to the style of the Bulgarian musical tradition, its rhythmic and harmonic language, its ornaments as well as the role of improvisation within its context.
