Continuing to embrace innovative artistic concepts, REEDBLOCKS breaks new ground by becoming a vibrant meeting point for Balkan accordionists—thereby fulfilling one of the Northern Greek festival’s founding goals. Panagiotis Andreoglou, Branko Džinović, and Nedko Bogdanov—linked by a shared, underlying connection—form an artistic triangle spanning Thessaloniki, Belgrade, and Plovdiv, showcasing contemporary trends for the instrument as they manifest in their respective homelands. In parallel, they explore electronic sound and contemporary composition, works by renowned Baroque and tango composers, and the spirit of the anonymous folk bard from the Balkan tradition.

From November 27 to 29, the festival will be hosted for the first time at the Sykees Cultural Neighborhood, featuring concerts, seminars, educational workshops, and an accordion exhibition.
