Accordion ensembles: teaching practice, repertoire and prospects

Continuing its series of meetings on questions of music education, the Reedblocks International Accordion Festival brings the accordion community in Greece into contact with accordion ensembles, a practice rarely found in Greece.

The festival has invited teachers from Thessaloniki and the surrounding areas to take part with their students in open classes and in the creation of an accordion ensemble. The ensemble will be coordinated, and the students prepared, under the supervision of the festival’s organising team.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge. The results are presented in the concert Blind Date vol.I at 20:30.
