Accordion to the sounds of the tarantella
A different music seminar and approach to the accordion, through the prism of the culture of Southern Italy, this historically Greek-speaking corner of the Mediterranean, with the Dionysian rhythms, the heartbreaking melodies and of course the primitive dance of the tarantella in its local forms. An experiential approach to this unique dance, with references to its history, but also to the development of the accordion over the last two centuries. Apart from the special theme of the tarantella, the seminar concerns all those who are interested in deepening their relationship with the accordion in terms of not only the technical elements but also the pronunciation of the musical speech, accompaniment and expression.
