CLAUDIA BUDER
Accordionist Claudia Buder studied in Weimar and Essen. She plays, teaches and learns with increasing enthusiasm. In 2009 she created the Accordion class in the Academy of Music in Münster. Since 2018 she is Professor of Accordion at the Academy of Music "Franz Liszt" Weimar. As a soloist she has performed amongst others with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, with the Vienna Philharmonic and the BBC Symphony Orchestra in the Proms series under Sakari Oramo. She is fascinated as a musician by the polymorphism of her instrument, exploring with it different musical genres. In collaboration with composers like HK Gruber, Georg Katzer, Rebecca Saunders, Annette Schlünz she has presented works in first performance. The heart of Claudia Buder beats for Chamber Music - in 2019 she is presenting the anniversary program of Bauhaus in Weimar with several ensembles. Moreover, life teaches improvisation. Markus Stockhausen has inspired her into experimentations and creations towards intuitive music. Go! |
