Internationally acclaimed by critics as an “accordion prodigy”, Ander Tellería is one of the most active accordionists and with better prospects in Spain. The passion he feels for the instrument he plays, the combination of styles and periods in the programmes he plays in his concerts and the importance he always places on the connection between the performer and the public make Tellería an outstanding musician.
On the one hand, his interest in ancient music and his research work on this field have led him to develop new sounds in the accordion and create the mesotonic accordion, an instrument with design and tuning features that make it similar to the sound of the Spanish Renaissance.
